1948 Ford Ramp Truck This unique hauler is composed of a 1948 Ford F-3 cab on a 1980's Ford motor home chassis. The rear deck came off a commercial car hauler. The engine is a 400 cu in Ford, mated to an automatic trans. It has power steering and power brakes. The electric winch is an 8,000 lb dead weight with remote. I have owned this rig for almost 9 years. At first, I hauled my antique cars to various shows with it. Later it was used to haul a late model race car to the races. Most recently, it has been used moving vehicles around our property and collector car museum. The last vehicle on it was our 1927 International Fire Truck. Condition: Truck is in very good condition, only needing usual maintenance. It has not been run in 3 years, so it would need; a battery, gas drained and renewed, and brakes bled. Cosmetically it needs rust repair to the right front fender, drivers side vent door window replaced, and cab painted. All lights worked. Front tires are about 70%, while the rear duals are 95% tread. Rear deck was painted and coated in 2008. While in service, it was maintained for daily use. Truck is located in North Woodstock, NH, which is about 2.5 hours north of Boston, just off I-93 exit 32. The truck is not roadworthy as is, and should be hauled on a flatbed tow truck or heavy duty trailer. Transfer by "Bill of Sale", since no title required in NH for older vehicles. Mileage 21606 may not be correct. Actual mileage unknown. Possible trade for Model T or Model A Ford in decent condition. Truck is for sale locally, and this auction may end without notice.
