Vehicle Detail
Here we have a 1966 TR4A solid rear axle. Pretty rough shape. In my foolish youth I thought I'd cut out all the rot and replace it with stainless and then install fiberglass rocker panels as well as fiberglass fenders and I'd have a Triumph I could drive on the salty winter Ohio roads. Ahhh the folly of youth. At any rate I got started on the drivers side and was doing alright but there have since been too many Hudsons that have required my attention and I've come to the realization the TR just ain't happening. So, I'd like to get it in the capable hands of someone who may actually do something with it. The interior panels and the dash are in very good shape for a car of it's age. It also has one of the nicest original steering wheels I have seen on an old TR. It had to spend it's life in someones garage. Have two rear fenders that are in decent shape....the fronts not so much. I do have everything. There are no pics of any of the lights...they are all there. It was a complete car when I drug it home so it's all here. When I brought it home it wasn't running. Fuel like totally blocked. I sorted that out and it ran fine. That said it hasn't been started in 6-7 years. If you want any additional pics let me know what you want to see and shoot me an email address. Thanks for looking. Been getting together all the lights, seats, etc for the car and am unable to put my hands on the top or frame for the top. Consider the car to be topless at this point. If I find it I'll change this. On Apr-23-12 at 16:05:36 PDT, seller added the following information: On Apr-23-12 at 16:12:09 PDT, seller added the following information: OK here we go. I slid under the car for the first time since 2005 tonight and found the frame is not what I remember. The two trailing arms from the center of the frame that attach in front of the rear wheels are just about gone. They are all there but very cancerous. I wanted to upload pics of that area but ebay has no mechanism for deleting pictures and I'm at my limit of 24. I have pictures of the frame and will be happy to send them to anyone that wants them. I'm not trying to misrepresent this car...it is rough...hence the starting price. If you've already bid and want to back out I won't hold it against you. And if you run into a brick wall with ebay as I did tonight trying to delete pictures I won't hold anyone that has already bid to anything.
