This is a 1966 convertible mustang that I owned since 1995. I spent over 10 years restoring it. This is not a show car; I restored the car to drive. Never claimed to be body man, therefore there are some imperfections, chips and clear coat runs were sanded down and buffed out. Overall it looks good and shines very well. I did all the work myself except for installing a new top. Originally it was a 6 cylinder car that I converted over to a V8. The engine and transmission was rebuilt in 2003 with less than 6,000 miles. The motor is a 302 engine with a C4 automatic transmission. I left the clutch pedals in, just in case I wanted to put in a manual transmission. Five bolt rims, 8-inch rear end, Manual drum brakes, power assist steering and the car has not seen rain since 1995. Some of the items replaced during the restoration: Rear quarter panels, Quarter wheelhouse (inner & outer), Rear frames, Trunk rear drop off pans, Floor pans, Front torque boxes, Rocker panels (inside frame rail), Front inner fender apron (rear), Fender splash shields, Front extension headlight assembly, Front & rear springs, Upper and lower control arms, Ball joints, Front wheel bearings, Master and Wheel cylinders, Brakes, Carpet and front bumper. The car was painted in 2005, the color is Ford mineral gray. In 2007, the convertible top was installed and license. I have over 150 pictures of the work I have done. I do not drive the car enough to justify keeping it, so I decided to sell it. Thank you for looking and hope the winner is just as satisfied as I am.
