Vehicle Detail
For sale is my Ford 2002 F250 Lariat (Trailer and 77 F150 not part of sale. 177,200 on 7.3 Liter Diesel with automatic transmision. VA Inspection complete in December 2011. I am the second owner. The truck was originally purchased in Belton, TX. I purchased it in DEC 2007 with 130,000 miles on it near Belton, TX. I moved to the high desert of Southern California in 2008 and then moved to VA in JUN of 2010. No rust until I came to the humid climate of VA, now there is a little bit of surface rust on a few parts of the frame. In short, it is rust free. I have had no major mechanical problems with the truck whatsoever. Since purchasing the vehicle, I have done the following to the truck: 136,000 replaced rear-end oil with full synthetic rear end oil; alternator replaced at 149,000; new tires at 149,000 (tires still have 25-30,000 miles left); transmission fluid and filter replaced with Amsoil at 150,000; starter replaced at 155,000; front and rear break pads replaced, passenger upper and lower ball joints replaced, driver-side tie rod end, front rotors, bearing and seals replaced (15 DEC 11) at 176,054 miles. Passenger mirror replaced 15 APR 2012 I have tracked my milage for over 100 tank-fulls; in 33,784 miles I have used 2,180 gallons of diesel for an average of 16.03 MPG. Best tank-full 22.04 MPG and worst is 12 MPG when towing through Colorado. Pick-up top is a "Jason's" topper, purchased in the Spring of 2008 (color matched and works well). As you can see in the first picture, I used to tow a '77 F150 I raced in CA. I no longer race the '77 and using the F250 as a daily driver is a little excessive. I now have a few acres and I cannot see using this excellent looking truck to haul logs and other jobs that will no doubt beat it up. I have a clear title in hand with no liens. You can also see in the pictures the driver's side seat has a small tear in the seat, and when I purchased the vehicle the "Lariat" script in the seat back was missing. I was afraid it would be uncomfortable but I never felt it. Additionally, the passenger side step rail came off when I hit a curb in CA. The front and rear bracket broke so I removed it before the middle bracket broke. I still have the Passenger side step and it will come with the vehicle. Lastly, just above the rear bumper the previous owner scratched the tail gate, probably with his trailer, and painted over it. Aside from those items, this truck is in excellent condition cosmetically and in perfect condition mechanically. Kelly Blue Book list the price for a "very Good" 2002 F250 at $13,557. $500.00 dollars deposit due at the close of the auction. Buyer responsible for pick up. Truck is located in Keysville, VA 23947 Thank you for looking and good luck.
