1972 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible This is a great looking, running and driving example of a '72 Olds Convertible. Oldsmobile only made 1041 A-Body convertibles in '72! Great options including: 442 package power convertible top power disc brakes bucket seats center console with floor shift power windows A/C AM/FM radio with 8-track tilt wheel outside thermometer guage sport mirrors with driver side remote Super Stock 1 (SSI) wheels clock rear view mirror map light power steering rally steering wheel original top boot original floor mats factory tinted glass factory dual exhaust cutout rear bumper with trumpet exhaust tips front/rear bumper guards NEW BFG Radial T/A tires spare tire and jack new car cover, etc. I have known this car for 20 years BEFORE I purchased it from the estate of the original owner who bought it new here in Spokane, WA. It has always been garaged and well maintained. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere! This is a great unrestored well-maintained car. The exterior paint, trim, and mechanics are very presentable. That being said, it is a 40 year old car and should be thought of as such. The paint shows well, but also shows it's age. The interior is better than most unrestored cars, but the seats show some wear. The 455 engine is new, with less than 600 miles. The block is standard bore, the nodular crank is std/std, new w-32 grind cam. Runs great! The original 350 is matching numbers to the car and is a good running engine with no problems, I pulled it out because it was leaking oil and planned to freshen it up while running the 455, but never was motivated to clean it up and put it back in the car because I liked the 455 so much. The air conditioning was blowing cold but the pump was noisy so it ws replaced and has not been recharged yet. The kick panels are aftermarket with speakers in them, they will be removed and the original back in place before the car is picked up unless the buyer would like to buy them and the sirius setup. Look at all the pictures and watch the video if it running! Feel free to ask any questions! Payment is to be made in cash or wire transfer. A $1000 deposit is due within 24 hrs of the auction end. Full payment within 14 days of auction end or before the car is picked up. This car is sold as-is, where-is. It is the buyer's responsibility to arrange and pay for transportation. If the buyer wants the original engine it will have to be picked up or shipped at the buyer's expense ($150 crating fee). When removed it will not be noticable that it was ever installed!
