I am not handicap but I have driven it, it took me less than five minutes to learn and get used to it. If you have a good leg for the Brake and Gas Pedal, one functional arm, then this van could work wonders for you. This is how it works: 1. Push ignition key --- Turn on engine 2. Push Start key --- Engine Starts 3. Push Gear key --- Engage Pk,Rv,N,Dr Now the steering: The original steering remains in place. There is a steering on the arm level with a joystick that is very easy to use. If the strength on your hand is strong enough to move a joystick then you can do this! The steering with the Joystick is also moveable and can be adjusted to any comfortable location of your choice up front. The Van also have a Eight ways very heavy duty Transfer Seat on a SIX ways platform. One of the best I have ever seen. Van also have high roof for standing comfort. I just want someone that can really benefit from what this van has to offer to find it.
