This Taurus SHO V8 is fast, fun, and reliable. The Ford/Yamaha SHO engine runs great, the transmissions shifts on point, the suspension rides straight and smooth, and the 4 wheel disc brakes work perfect. And all of it works!! The exterior of the car is in very good condition - a few scratches and chips but no dents and no rust. The interior is excellent - no rips, tears, worn spots. There is no evidence of leaks on the carport floor or the underside of the car. Mechanically sound. It did pass emissions testing in 2010 or it would not have been licensed. AND YES -- the camshafts are welded. A prior owner claimed that the engine was rebuilt in 2006 (about 105,000 miles) due to cam sprocket failure and the new cams were welded then.
