1977 MGB ROADSTER NEW TOP SHARP SPORTS CAR This is a 1977 MGB roadster the owner asked me to list. He is a VW expert with 42 years of experience. He saw this car for sale a few months ago and bought it. Then he had a new top installed. He has so many vehicles he doesn't know why he bought this one and just wants to sell it. The car fires right up and runs good. The interior is in very nice shape. The car has a good solid body with good maroon paint. The owner thinks the car may have been another color when new. The car comes with a cover. It has a Virginia State safety inspection sticker that is good until the end of September 2012. The previous owner spent $400 to get the car through inspection - some front end pieces were replaced. This car has 94.203 miles and we believe that is original. The owner has only driven the car 20 miles since he purchased it and says it drives really well. The owner doesn't have a computer so if you would like to see the MGB email for his number. Car looks like it has been well kept. Car looks great. It drives and runs fine. The luggage rack on the trunk is in nice shape. Body is straight, paint is glossy. This car is a real beauty. It has the big bumpers required by the government. All trim and lenses are in great shape. Upholstery is tan and very nice. I'm guessing the seats may have been recovered. Gauges are clear I couldn't get the Blaupunkt stereo to come on - it does have a detachable face plate. Nice interior Four speed transmission works fine Passenger door panel Driver door panel I set the boot on the car so you can see it has one. Comes with this book 1.8 Liter engine starts right up Engine has a Zenith Stromberg carburetor. Simple four cylinder engine Factory stickers I tried to read the tag. I think it says 8V883AH19867 - could be wrong Distributor and oil filter Carburetor Trunk has a spare and tire changing tools. The electric fuel pump looks fairly new. Note the speakers Underside of trunk lid Grill and front bumper Glass is good, car is inspected Driver front fender - tires are 185X70X14 and they have plenty of tread Doors open and close properly No rust body - this wheel is missing the center emblem New top MGB emblem is under the luggage rack A real beauty of an automobile Black bumpers Top is easy to fold and has a boot Straight body Passenger front fender If you are seriously interested in this car my advice is to come and see it.
