FLAT HOOD IM NOW KEEPING NOT INCLUDED!!!!!! 1971 torino 500 sportsroof with a halfway decent body(not common from this area but I had car shipped from virginia). I bought this car as something I could work on here and there. I've owned numerous mustang fastbacks but thought it was time for a change. Now I've realized what I really want is another stang. Car needs work no motor no transmission. Missing numerous little parts and some parts arent salvagable in my opinion. This was a bench seat car which I have both front and rear seats but they need reupholstered. Good- Fenders, doors,. 2 gt hoods(one missing vent) ! Trunk area is excellent condition except for a couple small holes between the seat area and gas tank. Gas tank is in great condition had a half of tank of gas in it when removed. Under rear seat area is in excellent shape. Was a factory air car but I dont know if that stuff is still in car. Has power steering with manual drum brakes. Have straight bumpers(need rechromed) and brackets. I have tons of misc parts has all glass. Nice rear tailight panel unlike the gt it has a cobra rear end which would make this a great cobra clone car. Decklid has very very little rust and 2 other rusty ones included. Also has very nice black door panels front and rear. Bad- Floor pans all 4 need replaced(these are available) need toe boards(these available), Rear quarters do have bondo in them. Battery apron shot(these available), Unfortunately somebody ran it onto a rock or something? The passenger side is bent up a little bit(fixeable for sure) Some rust on passenger side trunk drop off at bottom. Some rust on radiator support by battery apron. Rust holes under metal that needs patched under drivers side and in front of cowl(see pics). Passenger windshield pillar shot? Dont know what happened to that it was full of bondo that I removed. Where trunk weatherstripping was is rusty with holes. Windshield and rear chrome mouldings not complete and some in poor shape. AGAIN QUARTERS HAVE RUST AND BONDO ALONG WITH MANY OTHER AREAS. No drivetrain, was a f code(302) as is no returns please look at pics closely and ask as many questions as needed. This car would be best to find a good hardtop which are more abundant and use it as the parts car to build this rarer fastback.
