Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE I am the original owner of my 1986 BMW 325e. It has been a great car over the years.It has 277,000+ miles. It's a second car that I no longer need (I could use the extra space in my garage) and have put this at a VERY LOW RESERVE (I just didn't want to give it away for 300-400 dollars as these things can happen with auctions). I have had it properly maintained with oil changes conducted regularly. It has never been in a major accident. It looks pretty go for 26 years on the road! It was repainted by Mastercrafters in 1996. It has many new components including a new recent BMW Service II tune up and a complete overhaul of the air intake and fuel injector system. A new transmission seal was also recently completed with new transmission lines installed and a new radiator. The transmission was removed and it looked great. This BMW has minimal rust. Most under carriage repairs were made with the left rear needing a small repair. I will note that recently it has been slightly smoking on start up and becomes difficult to start after the car has been driven for a while. Could be a simple solution as I suspect the cylinder head either needs new gaskets or seals. Brakes are o.k. - been awhile since replacement. Wheels were replaced and look good and the tires still have decent tread. The front interior is still in good condition as the leather seats were replaced but the rear seat is split in a few areas. I converted the air conditioning system to the new R134A system roughly five years ago and the air works great. This car would be great to an enthusiast who enjoys working on cars and can make repairs on their own or to have as a second vehicle. Great for a high-school/college student!
