Here for sale is a 1965 Mustang that was supposed to be a father and son project, but after the car was 85 % finished son drove it about 6 months and desired that he was going in the Army and did not want or the desire to have the car any more??????? So my misjudgement of my son is your gain!!!! The car was striped to bare metal and all signs of rust were cut out and new metal put in. The floor boards were replaced and all and i mean all rust cut out . New head liner new carpet new seat covers front and back new gauge counsel new shifter new radio with old Mustang look but with ipod connections. The 289 2b Motor was gone thur repainted and new radiator all new lights and many more.....new front suspension complete a-frames springs and all. Old period American Racers that are from the sixties not repros. Repro wood steering wheel. New glove box insert and many other new parts still in packages. Now after driving it for like I said before there are some dings on the car the drivers door and front fender need repaired (son backed up out of the garage and wrinkled it) talked to a body man said was a easy fix. So if you Like it buy it look at all pics and decide for yourself. I have had some questions to if the car has power steering or ac sorry it dose not. It has the original 289 2b and the original tranny. With the original rear end. It has the original drum brakes all around with all new shoes and calibers. Also the set of tires are new ish like I said before my son did drive it for six months. Also I have all the original parts that came with the car old rims with tires and a the front grill with the light housings in it also some bumpers and a trunk lid and also some other odds and ends that all go with the car. I have also had more questions about the vin so here it is 5T07C1172459 and as you can see if you decode the vin it is an original 289 2b and c-4 tranny. Also after looking at the title the car is classified as a reconstruct not salvage.
