This rare 914/6 was meticulasly restored during the late 90's as a Lemans Sonauto Replica. It was driven and pampered as such up to 2010. The current owner has removed the stickers to prepare to repaint. During the winter the engine has devoloped a major knock. It seems to be in the bottom end (not valves) and the noise is loudest around the fan schroud. That being said, the car is being sold as a restoration project and needs paint and engine work. The car is drivable (and still fast) and does not appear to need anything else. Lots and lots of records as well as detailed descriptions of the former restoration work included. This rare 914/6 was meticulasly restored during the late 90's as a Lemans Sonauto Replica. It was driven and pampered as such up to 2010.
