Up for bid is a 1979 Ford Mustang Pace car, 2.3L turbo. It has 79,818 miles but has been sitting for the last 6 years. It is a project car but it would not take much to get it running. It ran fine when I got it but I foolishly decided I wanted to rebuild the motor, resulting in me taking off all of the surface components and then letting it sit for years. As you can see by the photos I have reassembled the components and am nearly ready to put some fuel, oil and a new battery in it. I just don’t have the time to work on it and I need a daily driver, not a restoration project. The car has spent most of it’s life in a dry desert climate so there is no rust and the body is solid. I am the second owner, my grandmother being the original owner. It needs a new clutch, I have the parts, and a heater core also which I have. I recently drained the oil so it needs new oil, I have the filter. There are some electrical issues regarding the break lights and windshield wipers, they do not work and it may need a new master cylinder or power booster. It also may need a valve job. I have the original rims, but as many of us know, the tires are expensive. I wish I could keep this car but I do not have the time for it. I want it to go to a mustang enthusiast that will restore it to its former glory or drop a big V-8 into it, it is ready. Any questions please ask. Buyer is responsible for pick up of the vehicle.
