Vehicle Detail
This is a 1950 Studebaker Champion 4 door sedan. It was fixed up some 10 years back with new paint, new interior and engine work. It has never been restored. It has set mostly for the last five years which has aged it some. The engine starts and runs good with no smoke and good oil presure. I cleaned out the gas tank and carb and put in new gas. The transmission shifts good and is quiet. It needs Exhaust redone. The brakes are not working and the front wheel cylinders are stuck. The trunk lid left hinge needs replacing. The car has some paint bubbles or blistering on the left side of the lower body caused by burning grass next to the carport it was parked underduring last summers drought.. I tried to take a picture of it but it only shows if you look closely and the picture would not show it. The cars Radio is in the brunk as is its antena. The knobs are missing. The car has a clock, turn signals, Duel Horns and bumper guards fron and rear. The rear bumper has a dent in the center of it but the rest of the bumpers and guards are pretty nice. The headlite bezels, trunk latch, bullet nose and tail light rings all have some pitting. Inside door handles, window handles and dash are very nice. Most of the lights work as does the horns. The tires are good but are old. There is very little rust on this car. The trunk floor in the center is rusted with no holes yet but the spare tire well is rust free. The under side of the car is dirty and has surface rust but no heavy rust. The front suspension looks like it was greased weakly and it still pretty tight. The car needs work but could be a driver without a complete restoration. The VIN number is the motor number on the title. Clear Texas Title. Payment is a $500 paypal payment within 48 hours and full payment within seven days of the auction closing. Full payment is by cash in person or by cashier check. Check must clear before car will be released. Removal is within 45 days of the auction closing unless seller agrees to store at a charge longer. Thanks for looking. Mark NO RESERVE! Sells to lower 48 States only unless preapproved.
