The Buick's LT1 motor was slightly different from the LT1 placed in the Corvette. The Buick 5.7-liter engine came with two-bolt mains and cast-iron heads, while the Corvette's had four-bolt mains and aluminum heads. The Buick LT1 produced 265 horsepower, 40 horses less than the Corvette's engine, but weighed much less. I HAVE TRIED TO LIST EVERY NEGATIVE ASPECT, BUT I BELIEVE THESE ARE ALL MINOR AND MAY BE CORRECTED FOR A MINIMAL AMOUNT. VERY LOW MILEAGE!! NO RESERVE!! THIS WAS A ONE OWNER CAR THAT I PURCHASED FROM AN ESTATE. BEAUTIFUL, COMFORTABLE BERGUNDY UPHOLSTERY. MOTOR IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, RUNS WELL, VERY TIGHT.(I WAS TOLD THAT THIS IS THE SAME AS THE CORVETTE ENGINE, WITH MINOR DIFFERENCES). TRANSMISSION IS 4 SPEED AUTOMATIC, SHIFTS WELL. BRAKES WORK FINE ,CRUISE CONTROL WORKS FINE. NEW RADIATOR, NEW BATTERY, ANTI LOCK LIGHT IS ON IN DASHBOARD. SECURITY ALARM HAS BEEN REMOVED. STORAGE LOCK IS MISSING(SEE PICTURE WINDSHEILD HAS CLOUDING IN LOWER PORION BUT DOES NOT MAR VISION. RIGHT REAR WINDOW GOES OFF TRACK & WILL NEED REPAIR. INTERIOR: SOME WEAR ON PASSEGER SIDE DOOR TRIM(HARDLY NOTICEABLE). EXTERIOR: PAINT IS FAIR AND ACCEPTABE, DECAL IS FAIR AND ACCEPTABLE. FRONT BUMPER HAS MINOR DAMAGE (PASSENGER SIDE, SEE PICTOURE). EMBLEM ON HOOD IS MISSING (CAN BE BOUGHT ON EBAY $2O.00-$30.00). LEFT REAR QUARTER HAS SMALL AMOUNT OF RUSTOUT (SEE PICTURE). AREA BETWEEN TAILGATE AND REAR BUMPER NEEDS SANDING AND PAINTING(SEE PICTURE). THIS CAR HAS HAD VERY LITTLE USE OVER 18 YEAR PERIOD AND SAT IN DRIVEWAY MUCH OF THE TIME, ALLOWING THESE CONDITIONS TO OCCUR.
