1970 Kansas City Twister Mach 1 Mustang For sale. Please Google that discription of this car for more information on the history of this rare car. This Mustang is only one of 96 built originally for ARI back in late 1969. I beleive from the Vin number it was the 18th car built. Out of the 96 built only 48 came with the 428 SCJ Drag pack option as seen on the Marti Report for this car. Furthermore only 24 came with the Hurst 4 speed top loader making this car a early verison and very rare. These car don't come up for sale very often. I was going to restore it but now need to sale it. Car is in very great shape to restore! Have lots of parts for it. to many to list. Car has been sitting for over 20 years and doesn't run. Missing ram air system and carb. Has 1969 Cobra jet motor but do have a 1970 numbers cj block, also have restored lemans rods and SCJ ua crank shaft with external balancing. Crank is fresh and only turned 10/10. The 1970 block is standard bore and will stay standard bore. Block is completely redone and has new cam bearings install. I have many more parts for car including twister stripe kit and logos. Floor pans are solid. Respectfully, ClintOn Apr-06-12 at 15:19:38 PDT, seller added the following information: Just as another update this car comes with the 1969 cj motor in the car with the scj harmonic balancer and hatchet weight, an after market new rear deck spoiler unintalled with mounting brackets, hood hinges. very nice rear tail light housings, Hurst 4-speed shifter handle, Sheet metal cowl around wiper arms, One of few places that may have a rust problem. Steering wheel replacement with original soft trim pad insert. 10 0ver rod bearings for the 10/10 turned UA sjc crank shaft. Used scj Pistens, 1970 for mustang wiring manual, and maybe a few other things. You are getting a 1969 cj motor and a 1970 numbers block out of a 1970 mustang scj int this deal.
