I bought this car one year ago from a retiring doctor in Austin Texas. He was the original owner. I put about $6,000 into it since then (I have the receipts). The doctor maintained it at Mercedes Dealer. The motor was recalled and rebuilt by the factory (at the dealer) at about 90,000 miles. The recall completely rebuilt the motor from ground up and upgraded it to address a problem that these motors were having (it got stronger rods, etc.). Motor is exceptional, does not burn any oil. I have had it maintained at the best Mercedes mechanic in Denver. This car is perfect, I just don't have room for it, and my priorities have changed. Probably nobody thought it had 18,000 miles since I also mentioned that the engine was re-built at 90,000 miles.
