Up for auction is a very consistent former NHRA Stock Eliminator 1970 Ford Torino wagon now equipped with a 514 cubic inch engine, Probe Stroker crank with forged (lightweight) pistons and eagle 6.8 H-Beam rods, NHRA legal balancer (dampner), 628 lift 310-324 duration custom Schneider cam (with cam card), Ported Dove heads with big valves, Hooker Super Comp Headers, Holley 750 double pumper carburator (race carb), Canton front sump oil pan 10-12 qt, Crane roller rockers, Weiland Stealth intake + Weiland aluminum water pump with Moroso drive, Heavily modified C6 transmission full manual forward pattern with A-1 torq ring 9 inch 3500-4000 Stall convertor, turbo action Cheetah shifter, H/duty driveshaft + transmission cooler, driveshaft loop, Nodular 9" rear end with new 456 gear and spool, new 1350 forged yoke, aftermarket 31 spline axles, long studs front and rear mounted on biased super stock leaf springs (clamped), Autometer gauges and recall tach, Hurst line lock, Moroso coil springs, 2 3/4 bungs welded in fuel tank, all 4 shocks are Competition Engineering (adjustable), rebuilt front end, rear mounted battery, combination weight box, bolt in 5 point roll cage (outdated racing harness), 4 core radiator with dual electric fans, factory Torino GT hood with functional scoop, Holley Blue pump, MSD 6 AL ignition and coil, 15x10 / 15x3.5 Weld Draglite wheels, still has the factory rubber floor mat, single fiberglass racing bucket seat, center floor mounted command center. Originally a 9 passenger wagon but rear seats are missing, says Falcon on dash nameplate, have new NOS back glass window winder. Miles show 35,300, cannot verify but probably correct, been a race car for a long time. Just recently blasted and turned all 4 drums, new brake shoes, hardware kits, 4 new wheel cylinders and new master cyl. Accepts Goodyear 30 x 10.5 x 15 slicks, has 29.5 x 10.5 x 15 now, useable but should be replaced to be safe. Always a southern car in way above average condition, no show car but a go car!! Some bubbling on lower and has a crack in windshield. 15-20 year old paint has nicks scratches touch-ups. Spare tire well and floors clean and rust free. Very professional modifications to rear floor and/or wheel well area for tire and/or leaf spring clearance, this is not noticeable unless you're very sharp, like possibly slipping through stock eliminator tech! Very consistent, wheels up launches every time. With the 50 extra cubic inch should be easily a 10.60 car in the quarter mile now (was an 1/8 mile car).
