Vehicle Detail
Ok, I will go through every detail I can think of to describe the vehicle for sale here. Let me start by saying this is a one owner, clear title, mature female driven Saturn with 207,200 miles. With that being said this vehicle is not going to be for everyone. The pictures tell somewhat of the story, but I will illustrate the rest in this description box. The vehicle was purchased brand new in 2000 and has been maintained regularly. The majority of the miles have been put on from highway driving (Massachusetts to Ohio/ Tennessee to Ohio/ Washington DC to Ohio). Nevertheless, 207,000 is a lot of miles. The owner is not a mechanic and neither am I, for this reason we are selling it. During one of the recent maintenance visits to the shop, the mechanic advised the vehicle is going to need "front" pads and new rotors. It also needs an oil change and the check engine light is on because its about that time. The owner has decided to find something new (newer), and picked up a 2000 Honda with 24,000 miles through my Ebay account (you can reference the car via my feedback). The car is here, registered and now we decided to throw the Saturn on the market. Please read the next paragraph carefully. I care about your experience here on Ebay and would hate to see anyone stuck with something that doesn't benefit them. With that being said I will offer my humble opinion on who I think might be a good candidate for purchasing this vehicle. If you are a mechanic who knows how to get the job done yourself this vehicle may be good for you. Whether you do mechanics as a hobby, for a living, or just to fix your own vehicle and keep it on the road while saving a ton of money. Whether you want to throw on some new front rotors and pads, give it some maintenance work (oil, other fluid changes etc), and keep on driving it or selling it. If you know where you can get a Saturn engine with less miles, and know how or know someone who can help you switch the engine out, this may work great for you. If you own a body shop, and come across or may come across a Saturn who's damaged parts are interchangeable with this car then this is an incredible deal for you. Hey, maybe its your own Saturn that needs a few parts (fenders, hood, doors, power window motor, etc etc), and you can do the work yourself or know a friend who does it, then this car might also be an incredible deal for you. Maybe you own a Salvage Yard, if that's the case I don't have to mention how much a reasonably priced, decent condition car like this can bring in (part it out). Now, some people this car might not be good for. School kids who need a reliable car and know nothing about cars. A parent who is looking to buy their kid a first cheap car that will last a few years with minimal maintenance (unless you are skilled in the art of doing some of the mechanical work yourself). Anyone who does not know anything about cars. This car will need some work now, maybe 200 bucks for rotors, pads, and oil for the oil change, but who knows a year or two from now which is why I say it would help to know something about mechanics. The interior is nice, the radio has a CD and works. Transmission runs strong, engine runs well (but has 207,200 miles), tires are decent (havent measured but they are not bald), and the body parts are in good condition, no major dents just normal dings and scratches for a car that year (just look at the pics for a better idea). Never had an accident, even though the front passenger marker light had to be replaced because some moron backed into it while parking and broke it. The bumper also has a little space from the fender bump (as you can see in the pic). All the lights work, there are no shorts. The rear drivers side door also has an issue and is stuck. I'm sure a little work and knowledge can get it loose. Since the car is not needed anymore its not been bothered. I will start this at a bid that will be a steal for anyone discussed in my "good buy for" section so look at the pics, hit me with any questions you got, and HAPPY BIDDING. A deposit of $100 non-refundable dollars will have to be sent via PayPal within 72hrs. The purchaser will also have to make arrangements for pickup (the car is located in the Washington DC Metropolitan area). IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE DO NOT ASSUME ANYTHING, DROP ME A MESSAGE AND I WILL GET BACK TO YOU AS SOON AS I CAN. AGAIN GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING.
