1968 PLYMOUTH R/R POST CAR I was prepping the car for the bead blaster when I got the bad news, the company I was working for lost a major contract and folded, Out of work- sadly the Car has to go. I have a clean Ohio title showing 41,313 acual miles, The story I got when I bought the car, A top contending Drag Racer bought this car around the early 70s Pulled out the 383 and was installing a Hemi to turn it into a race car but thats as far as he got and the car sat in a pole barn all these years. There is a roll bar in the car that has never been drilled and installed, Parts going with the car include a good 383 engine w/ engine stand 727 transmission rear qtr. panels new upper rear body pnl.new lower fender patch panels, wire harnesss, chrome trim some interior pieces 2 am mopar radios, radiator,fuel tank,3 drive shafts, extra decklid w/ repairable dent very solid, I bought the 383 engine bolted to a 727 trans from a man in southern Ohio who swears it was pulled from a 68 r/r but I can't confirm because I did not see the car, I did hear it run for a short time from a bench start, the floor & trunk are factory w/ a few rust holes the trunk is a little worse than the passenger floor area I was going to repair rather than replace, factory Hood nice shape no rust, factory Fenders & doors are very repairable rear Spring hangers look ok, both rear inner wheel wells need to be replaced, car needs a lot of work but 68s being the first year for the r/r are getting harder to find.
