You are bidding on a used 2006 Toyota Avalon. This vehicle was leased as a new work vehicle. Most of the mileage was accumulated driving back and forth to Washington, DC and Northern Virginia where much of our contract work is located. The vehicle was purchased by our business after the lease ended and has been used to commute up and down the I-95 corridor. This Toyota drives like a vehicle with half the mileage and is tight with no squeaks or rattles. We have the title in hand and have started the bid at $8,999.00 with no reserve. This would be a great second car or a safe starter for a new driver. More pictures are available if requested. The vehicle is in very good physical condition: Some road rash on the front from the highways, a few minor dings on the sides and a small scratch here or there but the original paint shines and the upholstery is clean with no rips or tears and shows minimal wear. The vehicle had a minor scrape on the passenger side from being side-swiped on the highway but was repaired and painted professionally. There was no major damage and the vehicle tracks and drives perfectly. There is a 1/4” crack in the very top of the windshield which has been there for two years without change so I left it alone. The vehicle is in perfect mechanical condition: New Toyo Versado LX touring radials were installed 8,000 miles ago, New battery, the brakes were done 5,000 miles ago, there are no drips or leaks, the transmission shifts normally in auto or manumatic modes, the windows work properly, the headliner is clean, all controls work normally, HVAC climate control works perfectly, air is cold, heat is warm. Oil changed every 5,000 miles (7 quarts), anti-freeze changed 1 ½ years ago. All maintenance records available, recalls have been done to date. And factory moonroof works normally. Vehicle is sold with no warranty existing or implied. A $500.00 deposit is required and payment in full by cash or certified check before title is transferred. Transaction must be completed within 10 days of purchase. Vehicle is insured so a serious buyer can take for test drive or have a mechanic check out locally. I will not tender ridiculous offers but would consider a trade for a Kawasaki Nomad 1700 of equal value. This is a great vehicle which has been replaced with another Toyota. Listed below are some of the many comfort and safety features: 3.5 Liter 268 horsepower V6, Automatic, Air, Climate Control, Front-side and knee airbags (never deployed), Power Moonroof, Power Windows and Locks, Cloth interior with new Avalon floor mats. 19-29 EPA miles per gallon (regular, have gotten up to 31 on long trips), Remote Starter (2 key fobs), 6 disc CD changer with cassette tape player, reclining front and rear seat backs, cruise control. Check my feedback and buy with confidence that the vehicle is everything that has been described and more.Had a few questions regarding the damage from the accident so I have attached an additional (last) picture I took when it happened. Mostly a crease and some scratches on the quarter panel and door and the wheel had some marks on it as well. Nothing major but it was fixed by Precision Collision in Winslow, NJ. They did an excellent job. All of the other pictures are recent and were taken a few days ago. Some other questions I've answered: The engine has a timing chain, not belt. Unless specified above nothing else has been replaced or needed to be replaced. My mechanic checks everything out every maintenance visit. Also this was my primary vehicle and I drove it 99% of the time. Non-smoker owned vehicle.
