I'm listing this for a friend. Up for auction is a 2000 Toyota Tacoma, regular cab, 5spd 2 wheel drive pickup with California emissions. The truck has about 82,000 miles on the clock with a mix of city and highway driving. Its had just two owners, but stayed within the same family. It was purchased on the east coast and driven to Los Angeles, CA where it spent most of its existence. Until this year it had never seen a NY winter and as you can see, it didn't go so well. In late January it was involved in an accident causing the damage seen in the pictures. For the total damage, please refer to the pictures. Much of the front end is damaged (lights, grill, bumper, etc) and the front of each frame rail is bent, but it looks to be well before the engine mounts. Both front fenders are bent, as is the hood. From the doors back, the body seems to be in great shape with the typical scrapes and scratches for a vehicle its age. The bed is in great shape except for a dent on the right side quarter panel, probably sustained during the accident. The left side taillight lens is cracked and has a hole in it from an unrelated incident. The truck is almost entirely rust-free as it spent most of its time in LA. As you can see in the photos, there is some very slight surface rust beginning on parts of the undercarriage and the parts that were exposed from the accident. The truck has been sitting since January, but it runs and drives and can be driven easily onto a trailer. The engine still seems to run fine without any leaks, but the alternator light is on. I think its missing the belt. The truck is located in Howes Cave, NY and is for sale as-is for repair or for parts. It may be seen by appointment. It has a California title. It comes with the cap shown in the pictures and the bed liner. Any personal items shown in the photos will be removed before it is sold. The truck is for sale locally and we reserve the right to end the auction early if the vehicle sells via another listing. The winning bidder must deposit $200 via PayPal within 48 hours of the end of the auction. The vehicle must be picked up within 7 days of the auction end.
