Hot Rods & Classics have restored several Dune Buggies and we've sold the majority of them on Ebay. We look high and low for Dune Buggies that are worthy of being restored and the one you see before you was no exception. Powered by the VW 1600cc dual port 4 cyl. engine with the 4 speed transmission. The Buggy runs and drives fantastic. The body is in excellent condition nice and straight with the addition of side pods, these are the panels that finish off the sides. Then we finish it off with the period correct Metal flake paint and our signature stripes. We use PPG's base coat clear paint system then buffed to a mirror finish. The pictures really don't do the paint job justice the metal flakes come alive in the sun light. The interior is new as well. That includes new seats, steering wheel, carpet, floor mats, seat belts, stereo, shifter, emergency brake lever, ignition switch and much more.. Other notables are Weld Racing Wheels, new exhaust system, new windshield, new wiring harness, new head lights, taillights, park lights, new front and rear bumpers and engine skid plate. The Dune Buggy is equipped with head lights, horn, turn signals, windshield wipers, rear view mirrors, park brake and seat belts. This Buggy has a clear Ohio title and is titled as a 1962 Volkswagen.
