Mercedes-Benz 300-TD Station WagonIt is an "Art Car" - Art done by renowned artist, Zane from "Street Life" in Escondido, CA...Zane has a very cool shop in Escondido, check it out if you are local! Car was first professionally painted green, "tagged" by the artist and then clear coated to preserve the graffiti art.We purchased this car from our Aunt and Uncle, and we are the second owner. The car has always been well maintained mechanically.I receive many thumbs up on the road!Sadly, I have to sell the vehicle as it is now my 4th car and I am out of room! The good - Vehicle runs great, just took it in for an oil change/service a few days ago. Tires have about 50% tread left, according to our mechanic.Battery was replaced about 2 years ago.Heater works.It looks awesome!!! Paint work was done last summer.I have never run vegetable oil or bio diesel in it, but many have told me that I can. The bad - The air conditioning does not work.Sometimes the power windows stick in the rear windows, but they do move up and down.The front passenger side door will only open from the inside of the car (the key lock is broken).The interior night lights are out (i.e. gauge lights). I do not drive it at night, so I have not fixed.The interior is in working order but needs attention, see pictures. Original leather seats.The car leaks oil. The car also has some weather proofing issues around the rear window seals. We drilled a few holes in the rear foot wells of the car to ensure no water sits in the vehicle (see pics). Not a big problem in Southern CA, but want you to be aware. Since drilling the holes 3 years ago have had no issues with, or related to, standing water. Rear shocks are leaking.The rear hatch will not stay open on its own. I use a metal bar to prop it open. See pic.The rear passenger tail light is broken. See pic.One of the front headlights is out.I had to zip tie the hood release (see pic) as the original release broke.No carpets or flooring in front or back seat (see driver side and one back seat floor shot). Flooring in back of wagon preserved.Both front seats work but need some attention.The guage to the right of the speedometer is out; oil pressure and temperature guages work but are erratic. No back seat headrests (See pic)The interior paneling has come apart in certain areas in the vehicle and on the dash. I am not a mechanic, nor am I in the business of selling vehicles so I am doing the best I can to describe the vehicle.I am allowed up to 24 pics, so let me know if you want to see others and I can email to you. I am not sure why the VIN on eBay does not work. I have the title in my hand and have checked the VIN - its good. This vehicle is sold AS IS with No warranty expressed or implied.
