Factory rated at 185 hp@3600 and 320 ft/lbs torque@2200.Transmissions:Standard:3 speed TH-400 automatic HYDRA-MATIC TransmissionRear Axles:Standard:2.56TH-400 auto2.564 spd manualPerformance Data:Car & Driver ¼ mile time of 17.30@79.3 mph and 17.5 mpg.Equipped with Rocket 403 "ROCKETTE" Engine --------403The 455 "big block" Olds V8 was replaced in 1977 with the 403 cu in (6.6 L) "small block" V8. It used a wide 4.351 in (110.5 mm) bore, the largest ever used in a small-block V8, with the Olds small-block standard deck and 3.385 in (86.0 mm) stroke. Some very early 403s were painted metallic blue like the 455, but most were painted GM Corporate Blue.The Olds 403 was used by Buick and Pontiac in addition to Oldsmobile. The engine was only produced through 1979. Output was 185 hp (138 kW) and 320 lb·ft (430 N·m).Actual 32k Miles on this car and the title states actual miles (not exempt, not unknown) last odometer reported in 2011 29k miles as per Maryland State Title Records.Engine Starts right up and sounds great, u can feel the power and hear it as well (no leaks) engine sounds like a beast ready to unleashThis car is a 2 OWNER car which has been in the same family from the start and was passed on father to son.Hydra-Matic Transmission (Floor Shifter) shifts smoothly and responds very well on the road. "S" optionExterior------Very well maintained and cared for. Seems the car has gone some restoration or at least a paint job. Some small bubbles are visible in places around the quarter panels and panel edges of the car (SEE PICS). Rust spot on rear left quarter wheel well seems to be in early stages and can certainly be an easy fix (SEE PICS). Front left mini grille has one broken link (SEE PICS). Rear bumper edge molding covers are missing, they come two tone to match the paint job (SEE PICS). Rims are missing OLDMOBILE center caps/stickers which should be an easy find.Overall i would rate the exterior 8 out of 10 considering the year and age.Interior------- is in very nice, clean condition. It has a fresh smell. I replaced the driver's side carpet as well as repaired and re-upholstered the driver's seat (SEE PICS). Ortiginal Alpine Radio/FM/Cassette, lights up but does ot function. Right door panel is loose at the bottom.Interior i would rate 9 out of 10 considering the yar and age.All the Original gauges including the TACHOMETER, Engine Temparature and Oil Pressure aftermarket gauges work and show well. Nice additions as you run this car at performance levels. Odometer and Speedometer work perfect. All windows roll down perfect.The car does not leak any water even under the pressure hose while washing the car. All the seals are intact.All headlights and rear taillights function properly.Front Tires need to be replaced as the car has been garaged and not driven much. Rear tires have plenty of tread remaining.I have driven this car around town and on the highway and i have been very impressed and have no doubt you can drive this car home across the country and back. It holds the road well and runs great.Undercarriage is dry and clean. Engnine is dry and free of leaks.The car comes with all the necessary keys (egnition, fuel cap and doors/trunk)A/C has been removed it looks like by the previous owner....Heater blower does not function and needs to be replaced or fixedTrunk has some some parts that i am including with this car (Original Oldsmobile HubCaps, AirShicks box, set of old shocks, floor mats, spare tire and tools.This is the last year of production for this generation of Cutlass 442 so don't miss out on this opportunity to own a piece of history.Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!! The 455 "big block" Olds V8 was replaced in 1977 with the 403 cu in (6.6 L) "small block" V8. It used a wide 4.351 in (110.5 mm) bore, the largest ever used in a small-block V8, with the Olds small-block standard deck and 3.385 in (86.0 mm) stroke. The bore was so wide that the cylinder walls were "siamesed" (similar to another GM 400 CID small block engine) — there was no space for coolant flow between the cylinders. This sometimes led to overheating problems. Some very early 403s were painted metallic blue like the 455, but most were painted GM Corporate Blue.
The Olds 403 was used by Buick and Pontiac in addition to Oldsmobile. The engine was only produced through 1979. Output was 185 hp (138 kW) and 320 lb·ft (430 N·m).

Exterior------Very well maintained and cared for. Seems the car has gone some restoration or at least a paint job. Some small bubbles are visible in places around the quarter panels and panel edges of the car (SEE PICS). Rust spot on rear left quarter wheel well seems to be in early stages and can certainly be an easy fix (SEE PICS). Front left mini grille has one broken link (SEE PICS). Rear bumper edge molding covers are missing, they come two tone to match the paint job (SEE PICS). Rims are missing OLDMOBILE center caps/stickers which should be an easy find.

Overall i would rate the exterior 8 out of 10 considering the year and age.

Interior------- is in very nice, clean condition. It has a fresh smell. I replaced the driver's side carpet as well as repaired and re-upholstered the driver's seat (SEE PICS). Ortiginal Alpine Radio/FM/Cassette, lights up but does ot function. Right door panel is loose at the bottom.

All the Original gauges including the TACHOMETER, Engine Temparature and Oil Pressure aftermarket gauges work and show well. Nice additions as you run this car at performance levels. Odometer and Speedometer work perfect. All windows roll down perfect.

The car does not leak any water even under the pressure hose while washing the car. All the seals are intact.

All headlights and rear taillights function properly.

Front Tires need to be replaced as the car has been garaged and not driven much. Rear tires have plenty of tread remaining.
