The Vehicle..........2000 Volvo V70 R All-Wheel-Drive Wagon in dark red metallic with a dark gray leather/suede interior. This car is in EXCELLENT CONDITION and RUNS BEAUTIFULLY. It has a completely safety checked & serviced. Features include the 2.5 liter turbocharged R 5 cylinder engine, automatic transmission, power steering and brakes, automatic climate control air conditioning, power sliding glass sunroof, power windows, heated power seats w/ memory, power door locks, power mirrors, cruise control, tilt & telescopic steering wheel, delay wipers, am-fm-cassette stereo with in-dash CD changer, alloy “R” wheels, rear spoiler, and much more. Its Condition..........EXCELLENT! The engine runs smoothly with no skips, noises, or vibrations. The transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears, and all other mechanical systems function properly. All electrical systems function properly and there are no warning lights on the dash. This car was safety checked and fully serviced on 2-24-12. The emergency brake does not hold and there is a minor oil leak from the rear main seal (both very common issues on these cars). We could not find any other problems with this car. The interior is beautiful. There are no worn, torn, or stained areas on the seats, carpets, or headliner. The combination leather/suede heated seats are supportive and comfortable. All other interior panels look just about new. The paint and body are excellent. There are no big dents, rusted areas, or serious scratches anywhere on the body. The paint appears original, and has an outstanding shine. Driving this high performance “R” wagon is a smooth and solid experience with a powerful engine, comfortable interior and great stereo. There are no shakes, rattles, or vibrations, and the ride is just as smooth and comfortable as you would expect. I would describe this car as CLEAN, SAFE, SOLID, and DEPENDABLE! It is very hard to find an “R” wagon, and this is a nice one! Take it for a test drive and see for yourself. Things you should know..........I try hard to accurately describe all of my cars. Most are trade-ins to local new car dealers. I have not owned or driven these vehicles as my daily transportation. The description is the result of a short test drive over varied road surfaces and a visual inspection while the vehicle is parked. This V70 R has had very good maintenance, and we can put you in touch with the Volvo mechanic in Ashland, MA who has done the work. I am not a mechanic and I do not guarantee that my description of problems (if any) is accurate or complete, but I try very hard to be thorough and honest, and my reputation reflects that effort.
