1971 Dodge Challenger Drag Car NO RESERVE auction. Campaigned on the drag strip since the early 1980's with multiple event wins, including the $10,000 top prize at the 2009 Mopars at the Strip in Las Vegas. Stage the car in the lights and its fully automatic from there. Just adjust the timing from the first yellow, let go of the button, and hang on. Car consistently runs 10.60's at over 120 MPH. Engine is a naturally aspirated race built 440 with aluminum heads, Mallory distributor, Turbo Action high performance 727 transmission with reverse manual valve body. MSD 7AL-3 ignition, Digital Delay system, TCI line lock, B&M Pro Stick with auto shifter kit and much more. Body is very solid with no rust or rot anywhere. Car retains all of the original sheetmetal under the hood and has never been cut up for fenderwell headers. Rear wheel openings are opened up for the slicks and the rear leaf springs were relocated using a standard kit. Frame connectors tie the front and rear rails together.
