I believe the gear ratio may have been changed. My comments: Rather rare ranchero with the Biggest 58 engine, and cruise-o, I've on;y seen 2 others like it and they were in a junkyard. A rare car in great condition. Runs and drives Great. Buyer responsible for shipping. Being sold as is with no warranty implied or otherwise. On Mar-20-12 at 18:15:59 PDT, seller added the following information: Hi everone, I just recieved some Info on the car from the builder who saw the car on e-bay and called me. He bought the car in california, Did the restoration and sold it to a collector who specialized in 58's and at the time didn't own a Ranchero. He said It,s not the original engine, it's a 390 with a 428 crank - that combination makes it a 410. and was done at an engine builder, he didn't know the cam duration and lift. he said the rear end was around a 370 gear. he also said that there was some rust at the top of the fender where it bolts onto the body near the dash. I guess that area must have been repaired by a previous owner the restoration is about 10 years old and was not a ground up restoration. Thanks and take care, Earl
