1971 Suzuki TS 185

For sale, 1971 Suzuki TS 185, Milage probably isn't correct but that's what the speedo reads. The bike has no title. I bought the bike from my neighbour about 12 years ago. It was in a basket. I re-assembeld the bike, added a chain and had the engine re-bored with a new piston installed. The motor was rebuilt by a local bike shop about ten years ago. I painted the bike yellow. The original color was green. I brought it to Michigan to use a backwoods trail bike. Ran good when I had it running. Since then, it has sat in a shed in Michigan. It would need restoring. The tank has rust scale inside, need to be flushed. The petcock need replacing (still available through Suzuki). I have the original but the inside cork seal is rotted away and it leaks. The seat is ripped in the back and side (see pictures), the rear wheel hub needs to be fixed, either bearings or just replace the wheel (that might be easier). None of the electrical accessories work that I know. Lights, horn etc., I never went through the wiring. Just put it together to trail. I was told that to gewt it running, all that it might need is the stator to be cleaned. As these can build up a scale after sitting for some time. If you're a wrench, would like a weekend project or just get it running to beat up the bush or maybe you want to restore it as a nostalgic motorcycle, give it a look. I read an article that these were some of the fastest dirt bikes in their day. Thanks for looking.
