1983 Honda Shadow

You are looking and may be bidding on a 1983 Honda Shadow project motorcycle. It has original 22000 miles on it and sat in my shop for apx. 8 years( just sitting); It was the ugly duckling; and I would tell interested people that this bike might not be good looking , but everything worked on it . Lights, horn etc;and the engine used to start right up.( I will try to put up a You tube video of the bike running,... if I have the time...) So a few month ago I decided to make it look a little nicer and kind of redesign the lines. Someone in the past had painted the frame in a kind of gold/bronce color , so we repaintaed that black with a 2 K and also stripperd and repainted the tank in a base coat clear coat real nice atomic orange met. effect 2008 base/clearcoat color.( pro job ) I build a new seat for it ( still needs some brackets) and slightly changed the rear subframe to accomadate a nicer loking rear fender and a new tail light. I installed a set of new head light brackets as well as changing the head light bucket itself. I installed a new/used handlebar that looks more suitable and new grips. I changed the right side handlebar control switch to a good used one that I bought on e bay; same as the front master cylinder. Also new plugs and most plug wires were installed; new speedo drive cable, new batterie etc etc. The bike is a pretty one to look at but hard to start; as mentioned it sat for years and the rings might slightly be stuck in their grooves; however I started it up today and sunday by pouring some drops of fuel in each carrburator and I had the engine running for about 15 to 20 minutes ( hooked up to a funnel with gasoline..)) it ran fine with the whole neighborhood watching the nice sound this bike has with it s open headers Anyway, this bike is sold as a project; it has all brakes and electric working fine; when the engine runs it does not smoke; clutch is fine and it shifts through alll gears. It does need the following: new choke cable/handle, new tach cable, pet cock. air filter and seat brackets; might want to put new rings on but drive and use it first before making that decission.
