Up for sale is my 2006 Suzuki DL650 V-Strom. Purchased from a dealer in Michigan in 2009 (for a trip to Alaska), it has performed flawlessly. This bike is perfect for canyon carving, the occasional gravel road and touring. It was laid down by the original owner and purchased at auction by the Michigan dealer; hence the Salvage title.. There was no mechanical damage to the bike, just scratches on the fairing, left luggage bag, a crack in the inner fairing and a broken front fender, which was repaired by the dealer. I have ridden this bike in every imaginable condition, from pouring rain to boiling heat and it always ran perfectly. I have attempted to show the extent of the damage to the plastic and if you can live with some scratches, this bike will take you anywhere, and do so comfortably. I have owned many bikes over the years and the 650 V-Strom is very fast and a blast to ride on curvy roads, all while delivering 45-50 mpg. It has just been serviced, with Royal Purple Synthetic oil and will need nothing, with the exception of a new rear tire sometime in the near future. It has been garaged since I've owned it and covered most of the time. Unfortunately, my garage burned down and with it some accessories, such as a custom luggage rack, Airhawk seat and the cover. The bike was not in the garage at the time, but now I have no place to store it, so it has to go. It should give the new owner many, many miles of care-free pleasure riding. It comes with the GIVI bags and trunk as shown in the pictures.
