1979 323I Baur NO.635 Car imported from germany in 1987 ,First owner was a Geman Doctor ,Second owner was a small city police officer in New Hampshare ,he was told by his sargent to sell the car it was to flashy for the small town,he placed an ad in the locate want ad digest which I have the origanal ad for, he sold the car in 1988 for 12 grand to the third owner , he was in a Airline Pilot and own and drove the car for over 20 some years always garage kept and never driven in bad weather, also that the car undercoated I believe Zeibart , being a Pilot he made maintained the car like it was a airplane, I have sack of receipts in a three ring binder hundreds of dollars spent, plus pictures of the car from day one in the country,and before it when to the body shop,the car was totaly rebuild, engine ,transmission ,front suspenion,brakes ,blilsten shocks,axles,wheels restored ,I also have the orginal wheels for a 323I they are 14 inch with a larger offset in the rear very rare wheels they have been beblasted and ready for primer and paint, new tires, bmw factory battery,new tailights,Headlight restored original euro bulbs ,new parking lights grilles are perfect,side mldgs in perfect shape all new clips,New windsheild and Gasket new Chrome insert $500.00, new center front bumper $200.00 from bmw all bumpers and cushisons in mint shape have all import documents from 1987, I bought the car from the third owner ,after rebuilding the car totaly he decieded the have the car painted bcause it was the paint was cracking Lacquer paint,the car was in his freinds body shop and was strip to bare metal for a repaint,his friend got sick and could not finish the car,very little rust fenders were replaced no rust any were else,car interior completely restored seats all new $1000.00 , top is new top cost $500 new GAHN the best tops, gaskets for top from bmw $500.00 labor to have top install 500.00- 2 plus days to install, Paint and body work 200 hrs plus!at $50.00 an hour thats about $10,000 plus $2,500,00 in materials Show paint!
