The Vehicle……….1999 Volvo V70 XC Cross Country 7 passenger wagon in dark blue with a beige leather interior. This Cross Country is in GOOD CONDITION and RUNS BEAUTIFULLY. It has a completely CLEAN CARFAX report. Features include the 2.4 liter 5 cylinder engine, automatic transmission, power steering and brakes, automatic climate control air conditioning, power sliding glass sunroof, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, cruise control, tilt & telescopic steering wheel, delay wipers, am-fm-cassette stereo alloy wheels, third seat, and much more. It's Condition..........GOOD! The engine runs smoothly with no skips, noises, or vibrations. The transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears, and all other mechanical systems seem to function properly. There are no warning lights on the dash. Our inspection showed a brand new exhaust, brand new tires, recent front end work, and solid suspension. The power steering reservoir bracket is cracked and the unit is mounted with zip ties (works fine!). The interior is good. There are no worn, torn, or stained areas on the seats, carpets, or headliner. The leather seats are comfortable and supportive. There is a split seam on the passengers seat (see photo). All other interior panels look great. The drivers window switch (master switch) is inoperative and should be replaced. The paint and body are excellent. There are no big dents, rusted areas, or serious scratches anywhere on the body. The paint appears original and has an outstanding shine. Driving this car is a comfortable experience. It has a smooth and stable ride with an economical engine, comfortable interior and great stereo. There are no shakes, rattles, or vibrations, and the handling is everything you would expect. I would describe this Volvo as CLEAN, SOLID, and DEPENDABLE! Things you should know..........I try hard to accurately describe all of my cars. Most are trade-ins to local new car dealers. I have not owned or driven these vehicles as my daily transportation. The description is the result of a short test drive over varied road surfaces and a visual inspection while the vehicle is parked. I am not a mechanic and I do not guarantee that my description of problems (if any) is accurate or complete, but I try very hard to be thorough and honest, and my reputation reflects that effort. Please remember that these are used vehicles and you should expect a normal amount of wear for the year and mileage, but any serious known flaws would be noted above. Local bidders are encouraged to see, drive, and inspect this vehicle prior to bidding. The Details..........Please leave a $200 deposit at the end of the auction through ebay checkout and Paypal. The balance is due within 7 days in cash, or by wire transfer. I’ve been burned by official looking bank checks that were made on a home computer so we no longer accept checks of ANY kind. We add a $180 doc fee to all vehicle purchases. A clean title, bill of sale, and odometer statement come with the vehicle. No other paperwork is included. Massachusetts does not require notarized paperwork. If your state requires it, please let me know before you arrive. This vehicle may, or may not pass any of the various state and local inspections.
