1997 Volkswagen Cabrio - Second Owner - Currently Not Running - Likely Needs a Crank Sensor - I Have Put A Lot of Money In This Car - I Give Up! Was Running Two Weeks Ago - The Mileage is closer to 160,000 - The Speedometer kicks out sometimes. For its age the car is not in bad condition - interior is clean but rugs could use a good cleaning or replacement, Has a good sound system with a 6 CD changer in the trunk - which is Volkswagen original - the regulator on the driver's side rear window needs to be replaced. The tires are less than a year old with less than 3,000 miles. I have all paperwork on repairs, this includes the CPU unit being replaced in May of 2010. Has a current inspection sticker through September 2012. The fog lights have broken or missing lenses. There are some scratches on the body including where someone keyed the car on the rear driver's side quarter panel. If you can get this running it is a fun car that gets good gas mileage. Has driver and passenger airbags. Includes windscreen and the bonnet for the top is in good condition. The top itself is 7-8 years old. Car has been garage kept.
