Up for sale is a 1990 BMW E30 325IX AWD. First off I own many older BMW's and have a European repair shop. These cars are my passion. I have owned several IX's over the last 8 years. This car was a friends of mine and was traded into my shop for another IX I had for sale.. His wife daily drove the car for the last 5 plus years. I have done the work on the car since then. I just did a ton of work to the drivetrain. All that is left is the body work. The paint is in poor condition. A buff job might bring the shine back but otherwise a scuff and shoot would be the best option. The car has a salvage title from light damage to the right front and down the left side. My thoughts are that it hit a pack of deer. The hood and right fender were replaced. The left door fender were replaced from the deer hitting the side of the car. There was hair and blood down the side so the damage was just sheet metal and not inner structure. The damage was done over 8 plus years ago to my best knowledge. Now for the good. I put a ton of new parts on the car and put the drivetrain into a good riding safe car. A following list is the parts and service that I have done on the car. Within the last 300 Miles! -Front sway bar links -Front sway bar bushings -Front axel L & R inner boot repair kits factory -Front wheel bearings L&R -Front Sachs Super touring struts. -Greased and repacked top shock bearing top mounts -Front pads and Rotors with sensor -Alternator water pump v belt -Front springs were replaced with low mileage ones because they are always broke. -Rear pads and rotors with sensor -Rear Sachs super touring shocks -Rear shock mounts -Front diff, Rear diff, Transfer case, And Transmission were drained and filled with Royal Purple fluids. -Fuel Filter -Oil change Within the last 3 years. -Exhaust manifold gaskets -Spark Plugs -Timing Belt -Timing Belt tensioner -Water Pump -Cap and Rotor As you can see I have stuck many hours and parts into this car. The drivetrain will need no addressing. If the buyer wants to invest into a paint job than this would be a great example. I am only looking to get what I have invested into the car. The reserve is set well below what the car is worth. Things that don't work --OBC in the dash --Fuel gauge flickers but works fine 90% of the time The tires are good on tread but the rears are worn and are loud going down the road.
