hughes35 store This is a very rare find its a 1969 MGC GT coupe with a factory fitted 6 cylinder motor. Unlike the ubiquitous MGB only 1771 examples of the C GT reached these shores between 1968-69. To make this car even rarer is the 4 speed transmission the majority imported had an automatic transmission. This lady owned car was taken off the road in about 1983 due to ilness and the owner subsequently died . The car has been in an Orange County garage till now as the husband could not bear to part with it. The odo shows 39,000 miles and it seems the car had extensive engine work at 37,784 including pistons,bearing, rings etc we have that bill from Asuza Auto Service. We brought the car back to life and the motor is superb, the car runs, drives and shifts fine but we are selling as a project the brakes were rebuilt but we did not touch the two brake boosters . Its not all good the car is very rustfree and the underneath is excellent but it does have evidence of an accident on the passenger front side it also has a fibreglass hood. Dont get me wrong this car has great potential would make a superb candidate for a vintage racer or a full restoration. We have the original old style pink and a nice folder of history....
