2004 Volkswagen R32 -- 1 of 5000 brought to the USA - This R32 has only 65,500 miles. It is a close ratio 6 speed manual, all-wheel-drive [4-motion] driveline. The car is in great condition overall. Owned by middle-aged professional engineer...so it is adult driven, well maintained, and fully serviced. Many are going for $14-16K in this condition! I am uncomfortable selling it for this low of a price, but my wife want it sold NOW. It is a 3rd car for us and not my daily driver. So my loss can be your gain...I have way more invested in this car than I can get out of it now, so this is going to be a great deal for someone out there. Serious buyers call me at the number below. The black interior is very clean with the original Konig Leather racing seats and leather wrapped .:R trim steering wheel. Car has had 60,000 mile service ($1500) last year. Has 18" BBS rims from VW GLI with newer BFG z-rated g-force Sport 225/40 ZR18 tires (only 5,000 miles on these tires). Four Wheel alignment was done last year - it runs straight, true, and smooth on the highway. I am the 4th owner and have done a lot of work to the car to make the car even better (over $7,500 in mods)... it is in excellent condition and has run great in the 2 years I have owned it. It still has a few chips and minor scratches in the paint as any car would that is 8 years old. It runs great and needs nothing. Buy it and drive it today. I have another daily driver I use for work, so only drive the R32 on sunny days . . .never been in the rain in the past two years while I have had it and it is always garaged. This car has tasteful modifications that add performance. AEM Cold Air Induction system added ($200). MagnaFlow stainless cat-back exhaust system ($550). APR tune for 93 octane ($450) . Stock engine has 240HP, this one is about 280HP. It runs and performs like a well maintained, high performance car should. It has Euro Cupra-R front Spoiler, Euro light switch, Front Lisence plate mounting kit, Aftermarket Chrome HID lights with Angel Eyes and real glass lens (not the plastic ones) and VAG Euro taillights. NEW Alpine CD Head Unit with modes to play MP3, WMA, thumb drive files and i-pod interface. Has Alpine Type R component speaker front and rear with Infinity Kappa 600 watt amp and Infinity Kappa 10" sub in rear ($1500). This car sounds great. . .audiophiles will really enjoy it and car buffs will absolutely love the exhaust note from this engine. I have a couple spare keys and VW remote flip key programmed to the car. It has a clean Missouri title now, ready to transfer to the new owner with no issues. The title is noted as a "Prior Salvage" car due to something in the car's history from Las Vegas, Nevada from 2005 (7 years ago) when it was only a year old (1st owner with 15,000 miles). I have the car fax report showing the history and one incident...not three or four separate incidents. I don't know who "rebuilt" the car and the extent of the work if this is indeed the case, but Nevada is known to "total out" a car for minor accidents and theft recovery that caused little damage to the actual car. I have not found any accident damage and it looks great and runs very well....no issues to worry about. Come look at it and drive it and you be the judge. Just being honest about the car's past...it does not bother me personally. The "history report" looks bad, but it is not reflected in the actual car. It has been checked out by VW service techs at DEAN TEAM, a reputable VW/Audi dealer here in St. Louis, and found to have no body, chasis, nor mechanical issues. The factory intake and exhaust will go with the car if desired. Any other factory parts that I have (tail lights, factory radio, and a couple spare parts) will come with the car as well. Answer: No, the check engine light is NOT on and there have been no error codes nor faults since I have owned the car. To my knowledge, the car has all the original factory dash, original air bags, interior panels & trim (minus the center, rear headrest), and exterior metal body panels.
