original 1976 pontiac trans am ! 70xxx original miles.i am the second owner of this unmolested 76 trans am.if your looking for a great trans am that you can drive now and possibly restore later, this is a fantastic 1976 trans am to have.this trans am has the original 400 ci. engine,original auto. transmission and original 10 bolt posi rearend. the exterior is factory firethorne red.the interior is factory black.the original dash in this trans am is very near perfect.no cracks and no other issues.the entire interior is in fantasic condition(no disapointments on the interior) it is not 100 % perfect,but extremely nice. the carpet does show its age but is still very nice.the exterior still has some of the original paint,but car has been spotted in here and there.there has been no rust ever repaired on this trans am.what you see is what you get.the pics make the car look better than in person if your up close.the paint is faded and has some bad spots.the fender flares have alot of the paint worn off but are still in good shape.the only rust is a small rust hole on the driver side rear quarter and a small spot on the rear lower valance.other than that the body is very nice.the lower front valance is broken but still on the car.all the lights work as they are suppose to.the hood bird is original and shows it age.the underside of this trans am is very nice.of course,being a 1976 it is dirty on the underside but still has the original reddish color from the factory.the engine does have some small oil leak/leaks but nothing serious.all the windows work fine and all the gauges work .the wiper switch my need replaced as they only work if you play with the switch a bit.also the a/c has been changed over to r134 and worked fine up to last summer,but, i was told a pressure switch my need replaced to get it working again. i have all the documentations for the car.tires are good and car can be drivin basically anywhere.never any trouble with dependability with trans am.i have owned it for close to 5 years and it has never let me down.ive drivin it on 400 mile trips with no issues. trans am sold as is.car is for sale locally so i reserve the right to end this auction early.ask questions if you need to,i will answer them as soon as possible.i have been in the autobody trade for 30 years and i purchased this trans am because of the great condition of the entire car,i have done no repairs to the body of this car. you can get in ,start it,and drive to wherever you want to go.this is a very nice 1976 trans am.
