1970 TRIUMPH 650 TR6R TIGER MOTORCYCLE/ALL ORIG 2 OWNER/10,999 MILES/ORIGINAL HARVEST GOLD PAINT You are bidding on a 1970 Triumph Tiger TR6R single carb Bonneville. Bought the bike form th 2 owner and I have never rode the bike, just worked on it. The 1970 Triumph is the year to have. Triumph changed the entire bike in 1971 to the dislike of many. The Tiger came with one Amal carb with was much nicer to live with than the two carb Bonneville and keep in tune. The original Harvest Gold paint is all original, front fender is excellent, tank has some scratches but still 99 percent complete, the back fender has been repainted a different green painted under the seat behind the back fender which you can not see, paint is bright with a great shine. The second owner parked the bike about 5 years ago, had problems with the wiring and took the orignal wiring harness off and rewired it himself, still having problems he parked it. I took the bike apart down to the frame and cleaned, nut and bolts are painted silver, 99 percent all original hardware except a few under the seat. Had a NEW factory correct wiring harness installed, everything works fine. Headlight, high and low beam, trail and brake light work, horn, red and green light on the top of headlight work. Also had a new ignition switch and key installed, replaced AMP gauge installed, replaced with factory correct seat cover, new battery, original Amal carb rebuilt, new gas lines, new air cleaner, replaced tail light, new spark plugs, sides cover repainted and new decals installed, all new rubber as in foot pegs etc, oil has been changed, motor turns as free and is smooth, new mirrors, gas tank was cleaned and sealed, dice in green value caps, visor on headlight, new exhaust pipes, new clutch cable, new choke cable, like new 1970 liscense plate. I have not started the bike since I have owned it. Bike has been inside my house for a long time and did not want to put any gas in the bike and I had no planes to ride. If bike does not sell it will go back in the my house. I see no reason why the Triumph will not run fine, HAS SPARK to both plugs, may need a little tweaking, but the Tiger is 95 percent ready to go. Their is some oxidation on the back wheel, front is great, both tire are like new. Just a really clean 97 percent original 1970 Tiumph Tiger 650 TR6R. A very low and fair reserve on this bike. All the bike needs is new front fork boots, around $20.00, clutch a little firm. THIS IS A RARE FIND IN THIS CONDITION AND WITH THE LOW MILES. A VERY LOW AND FAIR RESERVE!
