So, when he decided he wanted to add a Truck to his Collection it had to have a Pontiac Engine – from the factory. So he set out to find a solid Southern California or AZ original GMC. Bob pony’ed up and found the most solid, straight, never hit, zero rust original car that he could find. It was not a cheap date, but then again neither was Julia Roberts in “Pretty Woman”. Just look at the way the doors, hood and fenders align on this beautiful machine. You will not find any imperfections in this near flawless body - completely stripped to the metal, then blocked and blocked and blocked again. The paint is deep, smooth and flawless. We have pictures of the original car that go with it along with two folders full of receipts. The car came with its original motor still intact and the machine shop put it back to perfection. EVERYTHING was DONE on this motor. We don’t think the car has more than 20 miles on it since the restoration was completed. Every nut, bolt, wire, fastener & spring was addressed on this magnificent machine; inside, out and underneath. Look at the undercarriage, the interior, under the hood. Everywhere you look all you see is perfection. This is as high quality a restoration as you are going to find. All work was performed by two high-end Professional Shops. The addition of Power Steering to one of these trucks is like adding knobby tires to a dirt bike. It’s a must have for the person that wants to drive one of these awesome trucks. After all isn’t driving one of these trucks what it is ultimately all about. Heck, the wife can go grocery shopping in this beauty with no trouble whatsoever.
