This is a 2001 Ford Explorer XLT 2 wheel drive. This car is being relisted because a worthless bidder purchased it, and did not pay. Bidders with less than a 10 positive feedback, or less than 99.5% rating need to contact me before bidding. Your bid will be cancelled, if prior contact is not made. Please take a close look at all the photos and ask any and all questions you have prior to bidding. I purchased this explorer with the intention of completely restoring it to new condition. Several parts have been replaced, or restored. I do not have the the time to finish it, so it is now for sale. Every one has a different opinion on condition, so look at the pictures and judge for yourself. Personally, I feel it will be a real nice SUV. If someone has some time to invest their time in her, this will be a super car. When I purchased this explorer, it did not have a key, and the registration was past due. I had a key made, and brought the registration up to date. It is now current, and on California non- operation. This means that there are no additional DMV fees to the the buyer. We have the pink slip in hand. All the fluids have been changed. She started up right away, after sitting for about 3 years. We drove it around the neighborhood for about an hour, but not on the highway. Shortly after that, the fuel pump quit working., and needs to be replaced. This explorer has been off the road,and in storage since 2008. The leather interior, and carpets, are in beautiful condition. You won't find much better. The body is California, RUST FREE. This Explorer is 100% complete. The car is currently not running, because of the bad fuel pump. There is minor body damage to the right front rocker panel area. This needs to be repaired so that the door can be ajusted properly. There are a few small dents on the right front fender, and the hatch. Please assume that there will be other issues, as you finish the the repairs. She still has a high rating from auto-check. This is a great Explorer, at a fantastic price. Parts are available at just about any parts yard. 2001 Explorers in this condition are extremely hard to find at this low price. This is a really nice car, but will need some work.
