This fine example boasts all the creature comforts of todays modern sedans with the durability and build quality of a German tank. This W116 body Benz is considered to be one of the most reliable models ever built. These cars after 32 years have around 300-500K miles on them but this gem is just getting its life started with 126,614 pampered doctor owned miles. All service has been performed and the original manuals and stamped service maintenance books come with the vehicle as pictured. The Turbo diesel is equipped with full original leather interior with no cracks, fading or tears whatsoever. Just look at the pics. The original carpet is in clean unworn condition after 32 years. The aftermarket Alpine radio can easily be replaced with a $100-200 Becker Mexico radio on ebay to make the car original. This car is complete and numbers matching. The engine pulls very strong and is responsive to the perfect shifting automatic transmission. The 5 cylinder 2998cc OM617.950 turbo diesel was the worlds first turbocharged production diesel sedan and the first sedan with a 5 cylinder of any kind. With 90.9 mm bore and 92.4 mm stroke: power output was rated by the factory at 110hp or 82Kw. This engine was used in the W116 300SD from 1978 to 1980.

The interior is in excellant shape and the exterior is in great shape with no dents or damage anywhere. This doctor owned gem gets compliments everywhere it is taken.
