PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ! Up for sale is a 1999 Ford Mustang. The car currently does not start or run. This was my father's car and he passed away in September 2011, so the car has not been moved since then. The transmission fluid leaked out and the battery is dead. I do not know what is wrong with the car and it is sold AS IS. The car was well maintained and in good condition as far as I know, so perhaps it is something simple. The car is clean and in good condition overall with only the expected little dings and scuffs you would expect on a 13 year old car. The trunk could use a little vacuuming but overall everything is in good shape and clean. The interior could use some detailing but is in good condition. I own the car and hold title and registration and it is the buyer's responsibility to pay any and all tag, licensing, registration fees, etc. Buyer should expect to sign a legal bill of sale when receiving the car. ADDITIONAL DESCRIPTION - at the time this was my dad's car... he drove it daily and it was well maintained as far as I know. He had bought the car used, when it was a year or two old, and has owned it the majority of the car's life. I drove the car myself for the last time in late August and it seemed ok to me, but I had not driven it before and I just make a short trip home with it. For an unknown reason the transmission fluid all leaked out overnight. I am not a mechanic and do not know why this happened. It could be a seal, line, or a crack. i do not know. Likewise the battery is dead now and the car will not start. I would guess this is from sitting since late August of last year, but again, the car is sold As-Is. Now that I own the car, I need to dispose of it. Thats really about all I know about the car. If you have any questions, please contact me ! The car is located in Tampa Florida and must be picked up and removed by the buyer. BUYER must arrange a time to pick up/tow/haul the car away within a reasonable time after the auction's end. Remember, CAR DOES NOT START OR RUN so buyer must have his own tow truck, trailer, etc. Car is sold as-is with no warranty. If you want to inspect the car BEFORE the auction is complete, please contact me so we can arrange a time. Once the car has been sold IT IS YOURS. A Pay Pal deposit of $200 is required at the time of sale/end of auction. The balance must be paid in cash at the time the car is picked up. If for some reason you need to discuss payment, please contact me BEFORE YOU BID. Otherwise, be prepared to pay the deposit and subsequent balance at the time of pick up.
