Up for auction is a beautiful and original example of the collectible 107 body cars. This has been a Southern California car it's entire life. Comes with all books and manuals. This car has been garaged 100% and it shows. It has been pampered and maintained far better than majority of these cars. Exterior: Originally Oriental Red, vehicle has had a $6K exterior re-spray to a newer factory Mercedes burgundy metallic. The car was completely disassembled, stripped, and repainted. Had absolutely no damage, dents, or rust prior to dis-assembly. This is a 76K original car that was driven sparingly as a weekend cruiser. The paint and body are flawless, not much else to say. Perfect metallic, perfect body, perfect detail. A classy color on this car and very formal. The attention to detail is superb. All of the aluminum trim is stunning and like new. The weatherstripping is perfect and original. The grill, emblems, etc. are as-new. All glass is perfect. The hardtop is as nice as the rest of the car. Comes with a hard top holder and the covers. The tires are top of the line and new. The wheels are brand new chrome Mercedes wheels. Vehicle comes with the originals, also. Interior: All original with factory leather seating and beautiful. The leather has been well cared for and shows 97% new with just the slightest patina, but you have to look hard. Still soft and supple. Dash is perfect. The burl wood is perfect and shows no fading or damage. The carpets are also in excellent condition. Comes with the original first aid kit. The radio is a top of the line with CD and takes a flash drive (the original radio is available). Custom rear speakers in external boxes. Mechanical: Runs like 76K original well maintained miles. Smooth, quiet, and powerful. Very tight suspension, ultra clean chassis throughout. Beautiful engine compartment with no leaks or residue. Shows pride of ownership. All drive-line components are in top order, serviced, and ready to go. It also recently had a double timing chain conversion and a new water pump. A tight, quiet, and smooth driving machine, as one would expect. Misc. Original soft top is dark brown and in very nice shape; one small tear needing repair on the passenger side, a repaired tear and the beginning of wear on the driver side...otherwise in very good condition. The trunk is very nice with no damage to the interior. Passenger side tail-light has a small crack in it, along with a small mar in the bumper just below the tail-light. Other than that, she has no dents or dings in her. Miles and miles above the other 107's out there, this car is in very good condition and kept very well through the years.
