I bought this car a few months ago. it had been in storage since the eighties. i have the original owners gas log , with oil changes up till it was put in storage. when i got the car i had the gas tank drained and all fuel lines replaced. fan belts and some other hoses. had the oil changed ,brakes and lights checked . all in working order. the tires were still marked west germany so i thought replacing them would also be a good idea. the car has several coats of paint on it the lower fenders and rear quarter lips have old filler in them. the rear tire well is spotless ,the floor are also clean. the front wheel well had little plates covering some small hole as can be seen. nothing that cant be repaired with a couple hours with a mig welder. i have been driving the car a couple days a week. what a blast! the struts are shot the coils seem to be fine as the car sits fine but rides like a buck board. im going getting a divorce and me and the car were told to go. i have two cars and im keeping the benz.. this is a great car that with some love could be a real show car. good luck . 1000 dollars down within 24 hours of the close of the auction.
