Here is an opportunity to own a great representation of an original 1977 Porsche 911S. Purchased from a close friend of our family this car has always ran like new and meticulously maintained. It was fully re-built 15,000 miles ago by Local Porsche specialist and has a very extensive service history. (Fully documented and strictly 90% OEM parts used). I use this car occassionally as a weekend car weather dependent driven up and down the West coast w/o issues. This car is plug and play. Additionally, never been tracked, matching #'s. clear title, accident free (no bondo work - guaranteed) Paint: The car is rust free - guaranteed. The paint is not up to par for concourse (A few nicks from freeway driving), but looks great for everday use, as I wax it once a month, always garaged and never driven in the rain, undercarriage and suspension, exhaust parts are an indication it's a "clean car". There are a few minor nicks here and there but for an original paint, it's absolutely great! See pictures attached. Interior: The interior is very clean and looks new considering it being original. No major rips, but 1/4" crack on the original drivers seat seam, as well as a small rip on the headliner by the interior light above the driver which, I covered temporarily to prevent further ripping. Rear back seats are not pictured, but included in the sale. Steering wheel has been re-covered with factory leather. Ashtray, cigarette lighter, and clock is missing, a small crack on middle vent (all easily replacable), no rear speakers (save weight). All guages and electronics are fully functional. Sunroof works. All knobs (heater, light, fog, etc) are new. Radio is a Alpine single disc with an Alpine amp 45W/channel. Glove box looks new. Lastly, no unwanted interior rattling noise. Body: All the body panels fit well lining up around the car showing its straight and intact. Importantly, no dings or dents - guaranteed! See detailed pictures: New Battery, rebuilt pedal cluster, new headlights, hood and engine shock mounts, sunroof, hood and door weather stripping. Electric windows & side mirrors functions, original floorboards intact, wipers, high-beam and all blinkers work. Manual antenna. Rear bumper was slightly modified to lighten the heavy rear but can be easily replaced back to factory look, removed side skirt to save weight but included in sale. Original hood emblem. Glass throughout the car is original and no cracks or chips (intact - does not leak), slightly tinted in bronze to compliment the car's color. Transmission: 5-speed 915 tranny, pedal cluster has been re-built with bronze bearings, 15K on Sachs clutch & flywheel, replaced the fork for peace of mind, new transmission ground, new shift and end bushings, 1st gear does not grind or pop-out. New cable, new transmission and motor mounts (as pictured). Replaced transmission oil 1K miles ago. Importantly, car shifts tight, no leaks & no unwanted noise. New leather boot and like new original shift knob. Wheels & brakes: 16X5 factory Fuchs front with Barum directional (continental tires 205/55/16 ZR) and 16X7 factory Fuchs with rear Barum directional (215/55/16 ZR) treadwear 400 with approx. 5000 miles. Note: Wheels came from and SC. Wheels are full chrome (looks new and no scratches) with all steel valve stem, factory wheel locks and nuts. Brakes (pads and rotor) have been replaced 15K miles ago with new SS brake lines. Original calipers painted high heat red. Engine: Fully re-built 15K miles ago (documented top and bottom end). MSD ignition 6A and coil. Passes Smog. Tight with the unmistakable whine. Could use turbo valve covers, small droplet leaks from the original valve covers after sitting for a few days. SSI headers. Factory exhaust. An external oil coolers added since trombone cooler was not included with the car but sufficient for 90+ degree weather seeing 210 degree on oil temp. Conventional oil always used replaced every 3K miles. Petronix added to minimize labor intensive and unreliable points on distributor. New plugs, cap and rotor, fuel filter, fuel lines, air filter, warm up regulator, alternator and chain tensioners. Engine speaks for itself clean, reliable and detailed. Suspension: "Tight", added a front stress bar, replaced all bushings with Weltmeisters rubber bushings and does not squeak - guaranteed! original torsion bars, added rigid Weltmeister rear sway bar supports. New bilstein front shocks, new rear Koni shocks, factory sway bars, turbo tie rods, steering wheel bushing replaced, recent 4 wheel alignment and tire balancing. Overall: Mechanically the car runs like new with the reliability of todays modern technology. Does not blow smoke only on start-up and the transmission shifts smoothly. Again, I have described the car which I have owned for over 5 years in detail. Any further questions please e-mail me. The verdict: an SC in so, so condition or a "nice" 911S 2.7. Besides a 3.0 is not a whole lot of difference in terms of power some may even say a 2.7 is quicker/responsive. This car is guaranteed plug and play simply enjoy it w/o worries.
