1990 GMC Jimmy SLE 4x4Runs and drives great, Clear historyOne of the nicer ones out thereNO RESERVE!!! I am listing this clean, Three owner GMC Jimmy SLE 4x4. This is one of the cleanest and nicest driving Jimmys I have had the pleasure of owning. This truck is clean top to bottom and it all works great. Body - The body on this truck is clean and straight. There is no evidence of any rust repair on the body at all. The body has been repainted at some point in its life and it is an overall nice job. There is a chip or scratch here and there but it is very clean overall. The floors and frame are also very clean and rust free. The bumpers are clean and straight and most of the outside trim is very nice. The door handles do have a few pits and appear to be original. Interior - The interior of this Jimmy is also very clean. The seats and carpet are clean and rip free. The door panels and dash are all clean and the trim is nice. The dash pad does have a couple of cracks which is typical of these older GM trucks. This Jimmy does have an aftermarket CD stereo. All of the gauges work properly as well as the heat and its controls. The AC is all there and intact but does not cycle on. It will probably need a charge to work but as of now it does not work. All of the power windows do work but they are slow which is typical of these older GM trucks. Overall the interior is clean and functional. Mechanical - I don't know the history of the driveline but it does work perfectly. I drove this Jimmy home over 50 miles at about 75MPH and it was very smooth and comfortable. The motor fires right up and runs smooth with no smoke or noises. The transmission shifts perfectly through all of the gears and the 4x4 works great. This Jimmy is equipped with manual locking hubs which work fine. The differentials have 3.42 gearing which gives it nice power and decent fuel economy. The brakes work nice and smooth and the exhaust is very nice. This Jimmy does have a set of headers on it which runs into a single exhaust. The headers have no leaks and the exhaust has a nice rumble but it is not too loud. The tires are Goodyear Wranglers that have over 75% tread left. These old Jimmys/Blazers are getting hard to find in nice shape. Don't miss this one.
