Vehicle Detail
Thanks for viewing my auction. You are bidding on a rather rare 1977 Chevy Monte Carlo Landau model. This is the last year of the second generation Monte Carlo (1973-1977) . The 77 Models were the only one's to have the "knights head" on the top of the header panel like a Caddy and also sported georgous ribbed rear taillight bezels unlike the flat lense 76 models. The photos of this vehicle were taken today and clearly show the vehicles condition. This is an original "survivor" not a "Barett Jackson show piece". The vehicle is priced to sell below it's actual value. If you are seeking perfect then get ready to get into a different price range than this. This Monte has a few rare options, first it being a Landau edition, second it has the factory gauge custer packer vs. run of the mill "idiot lights", third as clearly seen swivel bucket seat option with console. The interior is near perfect with only minor defect and is original, the car sports ICE COLD working Air Conditioning. The exterior of car as clearly seen is rather nice with rust in the typical areas. The overall condition is outstanding for an unrestored 35 year old car! The engine is the original 305 V8 backed with Th350 auto trans. No running problems at all, warm it up and drive across the country. Mileage is actual at 78k. Under the hood is a fairly new Edlebrock performer intake with a holly car ($600 value alone) and exaust is true dual front to back with headers ($800 value) I am an honest seller and done my best to show and describe the condition of vehicle. It is responsibility of buyer to ask all questions. Bid is contract and buyer will be held to it. I have simple terms, by bidding you agree to the following. Car can be either at NY 10920 or NJ 07026 for pickup. Car is strictly AS IS, WHERE IS, Buyer responsible for all fees to transport vehicle or to bring plates and drive away. Buyer responsible to ask questions, it's impossible for me to mention every aspect and detail. I have provided honest description. ( I can provide a broker for transport. Typical cost NY to CA is about $800-$1000). Deposit of $300 NON REFUNDABLE due no more than 48 hours of auctions close, can be pay pal but I am charging an addition $25.00 to buyer for USE of PAY PAL due to their fees. I would rather a money order. Buyer not to pick up vehicle till I recieve deposit, once deposit is to me then rest in cash, bank check no later than 7 days of auctions end. (Many people take E-bay as a game, listings cost time and money and in event you want to waste my time I keep the deposit) It's understood that buyer bid to own car not to come to location and decide if they want it or not. I am willing withing reason to keep the car up to 20 days if buyer has transporter coming out of state, after that time there will be a $50.00 a day storage fee till it's gone. Title will be mailed out or handed to buyer once paid in full. Thanks best of luck.... Bid away... want to send this one to Sweeden. On Feb-25-12 at 12:52:44 PST, seller added the following information: CAR OFFERED LOCAL and I RESERVE TO END AUCTION AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT! SERIOUS BUYERS CONTACT ME. CAR IS LISTED TO SELL IT and I AM READY TO DO SO.
