Vehicle Detail
1980 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. 350 automatic. Lots of work done, car, sounds good, runs good, and shifts good. Needs paint, No rust! Interior nice. All glass is good, lights work ect.... New parts are- * Cam and lifters -$180 * New rear package tray $40 * New cd- speakers $200 * Brand new BFG TA Radials $670 * Newly refinished original Z28 wheels $400-$500 on Ebay if you can find them. * New center caps $70 * New dash cap $120 * New Dual Exhaust $300 * Refinished Corvette valve covers $200 - $300 on ebay * New Z28 emblems front and rear $80.00 I am sure I am leaving things out. This is a great year for the Camaro body style. It has the original Z28 air induction hood, and it does work. Numbers matching car with build sheet. This was an original Dark Blue Z28 with Blue interior. Car is now a Brighter blue and part primer. Not much to get ready for paint. This is a car you can drive now, paint when you have time. The second generation Camaro's are getting more popular and values are going up. This is a great investment car and fun for father and son. One of the last true muscle cars. I have documentation of the restoration that has been done on a NastyZ28.com blog. http://www.nastyz28.com/forum/showthread.php?t=193034 Missing ac compressor. Car is partly in primer. The only rust this car has ever had was around top of windshield channel. This was repaired , with a donor roof piece. That is $900 invested to be sure it was fixed right! Interior looks very nice but is dyed. I replaced the interior plastics with Black rear interior quarters and sail panels. The kick panels, door panels, console, steering wheel and seats are dyed. They have been dyed for over a year now and still look very good. The only place the dye does not adhere well is on the seat bottom where the seat back and seat bottom meet. This can not be seen in the seated position. Only when you lean the seat up do you see it. It is not bad then, but its there. Nothing is sticky and all looks original. Original air cleaner is included also. odometer reads 02585 but exceeds mechanical limits. Clean Va title, in my name, in hand. Car is tagged, driven and insured now. Left Rear quarter was replaced due to damage, not rust. The trunk floor extension has some damage also, but looks good with the mat over it. Not noticeable unless you remove the trunk mat. If you are local to the Roanoke , Va. area, I Will consider trading this car for paint and bodywork on my 1972 Challenger. Must be qualified Paint and body technician! Email me any questions. I work lots of hours but will try to answer as promptly as possible, but please look at pictures and the link above. Lots invested and a great car. I have another project that needs attention and money. Payment by Paypal of $1000 for deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end. Payment in full due within 10 days of auction end by cash or cashiers check. Car can be picked up after funds received and verified. Car is located in Cloverdale Va. . Very close to Roanoke Va. You may contact me for a pre-inspection if you would like, but do not wait until last couple days of auction. Your bid is a legal contract to buy. No bidders with feedback under 5, without prior approval please. Your bid may be cancelled. Car is for sale locally and auction may be ended at any time. I have tried to describe to the best of my ability but the car is sold as is, where is, with no warranty implied or given. This is a Great project Camaro with lots of work done. I would love to finish it but just don't have the time or funds for two projects. Thanks for looking!
