I would like to start off by saying, I am not an authority on Porsches by any means but this is one of the nicest, all original, rust free porsches I have ever seen. Rust free with the exception of the corner tip of the battery tray (a little surface rust around that corner), the tip of the hood and fender and a small spot on the bottom side of the drivers side door. Other than those areas there is no other rust on this vehicle that I can see any where. These spots that I am speaking of, are more in the lines of paint blemishes, probably due to error in metal prepping from the factory. All areas are clean on the underside with no rust through. I own a restoration shop and buy and sell classic cars of all kinds and could have easily have fixed these areas but after further thought, I decided to leave the car all original so the new owner can see exactly what he is getting. I have photographed the undercarriage in great detail with excellent lighting so you can see just how clean and beautiful this car really is. It is the original 2.7 liter engine and still retains the original smog pump also, this is a factory A/C car. Pay close attention to the detail on all of the undercarriage areas, fender wells, front and rear valances, rockers, bolts, rubbers, trunk compartment, tool kit, door jams, all seals and tags, chrome, glass as well as the engine compartment. I am certain you will agree, they are all in incredible condition. This Porsche was always garage kept and sat for 10 years before I acquired it. The following was done to bring it to its current condition: Remove and replace fuel tank with an original Porsche fuel tank Installed new fuel pump (Bosche) Installed new fuel filter Cleaned the fuel system and injecters Cleaned the injection pump and lines Replaced the master cylinder Installed new spark plugs I then washed it, fired it up and took it for a 75 mile ride with no problems. It starts good and accelerates with plenty of power, all of the guages work, the clock does not. The paint is in beautiful condition, probably could use a good polishing but shows very nice. This car is featured in a Cinnamon Brown metallic which is a rare color and although it looks beautiful in the photos, it is much more impressive in person. The Bridgestone tires were installed years ago and still show as new but are showing signs of dry rotting. The Porsch mechanic that worked on this vehicle is a certified Porsche Technician, specializing in 911's. Upon starting the car when it is cold, it will blow out a puff of smoke for a few seconds and then clears right up. The Porsche Tech said that is normal for the Porsches of that era because of the design of the engine. The engine sounds very good, doesn't make any odd noises.
